The heart and soul of Nootka Wilderness Lodge, Brian grew up in Campbell River and started fishing Nootka Sound in the early nineties.

A lifetime spent on the coast has provided me the opportunity to stay in touch with nature and the rugged West Coast. I feel fortunate to have spent the past 20+ years sharing my knowledge and passion for the coast with our wonderful clients. Truer nature is never out of reach.

RJ grew up in Kitchener Ontario, dreaming about the ocean and mountains on the west of Canada.

When I was 15 my grandfather whisked me away to Haida Gwaii, taking me on my first ever fishing trip to the BC Coast. Little did I know, that fishing trip was the beginning of the rest of my life. I’m excited to join forces with the legendary “renegage” and to continue to provide one-of-a-kind experiences to those wise enough to visit the BC coast
